So... This has been something that I've been watching for the past few weeks. Yeah, I'm a basketball fan, I love the sport.
So right now, the teams that made it to their Conference Finals are:
Los Angeles Lakers
Phoenix Suns (I NEVER expected them to make it this far...)
Orlando Magic
The last spot is either for the Boston Celtics or Cleveland Cavaliers. I honestly have to say that I
HATE the Cavs. Why? Because everyone expects them to win it all & they're #1 in the NBA. I said at the beginning of the season, "Cleveland is NOT winning the championship this year. Oh, and don't call LeBron 'King James' until he gets a damn ring!"
Sure they acquired Shaq in the offseason (He ain't doing shxt right now), and got Antawn Jamison from the Wizards (I think that was a gay trade). They also got some key players in the offseason like Jamario Moon, Anthony Parker and a bunch of others which I don't really care of. It actually hurts for me to see Parker in another jersey (since he was on my favorite team for the past few seasons, the Raptors). When he got signed to the Cavs in the offseason, Candace Parker (his sister) put on her Twitter how Anthony got signed by the Cavs and he's finally gonna get a ring. When I saw that, I thought to myself, "Bxtch. I hope they don't get it this year". LOL.
Anyways...
Take it in how they're down 3-2 to the Celtics and they're on the verge of elimination. LeBron played TERRIBLE in game 5. I think the Celtics slapped them by 20 points? Yeah it was bad. Oh, I forgot to mention... THAT WAS CLEVELAND'S HOME COURT. I know that Boston got blown out on their home court too, but this was a CRUCIAL game. I was on Twitter this morning and LeBron was a trending topic, so I had to read what some people had to say. I read this tweet and it said something like, "LeBron had one bad game, and everyone is on his case...". I said to myself, you can't say that now. It's the playoffs, and this is a crucial game. Superstar players like LeBron should be able to dominate in important games like these. Don't ever say that during the playoffs.
If Cleveland does beat Boston, I hope Orlando will whoop their ass in the Eastern Conference Finals...
Do I think LeBron James should win a title? Yes, I personally do. I believe he deserves one. I was rooting for his team in 2007 when they were in the Finals vs. the San Antonio Spurs. Too bad they couldn't even win a game in that series. He worked really hard in that playoff run. Again, I do believe he should win a championship. But not this season.
